The Bugeye parts you might be in search of, can also be named the Frogeye parts or the Austin Healey Sprite Mark I parts. All three names are used to identify this wonderful little 2 seater sports car. This car was so well liked it had two nicknames, one for each side of the pond, or Atlantic Ocean.
When looking for these parts, the used ones will be around 50 years old, so if it has any rubber or other components that require a seal, it should be inspected and replaced if necessary. Fortunately, there are aftermarket manufacturers that still produce the necessary rubber components for this car.
While at the present time there are no aftermarket manufacturers of the body or undercarriage, nearly every other part can still be found, including the body panels and accessories.
A good number of the parts for this car were also used on the other BMC cars of these years. While it was not until later did the MG line start to copy this model line, the Austin A35 and the Morris Minor 1000 did use the exact same parts. The major contribution from the Morris Minor 1000 was its rack and pinion steering, along with the suspension components.
One of the parts that are impossible to find are the exterior door handles. This is because there were none on this model of car. There was an optional hard top that could be purchased but not many had them originally, so it is extremely rare.
The soft tops that most people saw were custom made because this to was not part of the original car. For this reason, do not expect to find original Bugeye parts for these particular components.
If you if you have Sprite spares for sale you may advertise them here on this website at no cost.

Jack
Hi Jack, welcome to healeysprite.org.
Someone must make after market bonnets as it was a fad to put bugeye front ends on later model MG Midgets. Maybe someone will contact you through this site and let you know.
Thanks bugeye,
I found an entire car at a reasonable price. Now I have extra parts for sale. If someone asks, maybe we can work a deal.
Jack
